Project: Adoption of "Kolar District Rural Clinic"

are put to better the health conditions of the people served.
Project Purpose:
Render free medical and dental care to the poor and the underprivileged under the banner of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
Location:
Ghattahalli Village, Kolar, Karnataka, India, which is 12 kilometers from Kolar.
Affiliation:
RGUHS has a program under which they sponsor rural clinics after a careful study of the location and needs of the community. RGUHS has adopted the "Ghattahalli Village, Kolar" as the premiere healthcare project that needs support from all. KSMD is very proud to be the co-sponsor of the project under their "project adoption" scheme. This scheme extends support to projects after a very careful evaluation. KSMD is proud to be associated with RGUHS through its Vice Chancellor Dr. Shetty. The Vice Chancellor has asked Kolar Medical and Dental College to participate in the administration of the clinic. In addition, RV Dental College and Dr. Nagesh will also be involved in this project.

The Clinic has enough space. Additionally, they have several guesthouses for use by the physicians and the visiting faculty members from the United States.
